Event Coordinator for Marketing and Advertising Company

 

One of Sydney's most exciting, integrated Marketing and advertising agency is looking for an event coordinator. Based in  North Sydney this is an exciting opportunity to get involved with an agency that has 20 years experience in delivering campaigns that provide ROI for their Clients . We are looking for an individual who is interested in organising successful and flawless events with Clients in the Information Infrastructure sector. You will need excellent presentation, organisation and time management skills and be able to take the initiative in a dynamic environment. This is a great opportunity for a self styled professional looking for a new fantastic challenge.

Contract Role: 5 days a week for 3 months with option to extend. Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include
• Work closely with the Event Director to source, negotiate, confirm and execute event deliverables
• Research trends, ideas, technologies
• Manage and execute small events from inception to completion
• Assist company with tasks as required

Requirements
• Have 2-3 years experience managing events
• Detailed and organised approach to daily work tasks
• Multi tasker
• Positive person with a ‘Can do’, flexible personality 
• Excellent listening, written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work through problems and negotiate pragmatic workable solutions
• Experience in Information Infrastructure is a bonus.

Event Manager QLD

Brisbane: To $75,000 package (Full time or four days a week - pro rata)

National membership association seeks a capable Event Manager for their Brisbane based office. You can be employed on either a full time basis or four days a week depending on your personal circumstances and will work in a standalone capacity. You will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects of their professional development and member events program in Queensland, including briefings, seminars, conferences and networking events.
 

Specifically you will coordinate service providers, including venue acquisition and preparation/set-up of catering, audio visual, transport and any other logistical requirements. You will negotiate the type and costs of services to be provided within budget, manage relationships with speakers and panelists attending events, committees as well as internal management and seek out commercial opportunities to develop new events specific to the Queensland region and assist with research on new event topics and content production of professional development events.
 

You will require at least four years event management experience and ideally have been exposed to association based events in the past. You will also possess excellent organisational and time management skills, research ability, a capacity to work to deadlines, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, good attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills and be able to build relationships and handle difficult stakeholders, a flexible and results driven approach, a team focus and advanced computer skills

Event Manager

Sydney: To $70,000 plus super

This expanding event agency focused in the delivery of client events across conferences, incentives, special events, roadshows and exhibitions seeks a resourceful Event Manager to take responsibility for event project planning and delivery.
 

More specifically you will be responsible for complete event planning and delivery including managing client and supplier relationships, budget, costs and profit margin control, preparing proposals/contracts/tender bids, researching destinations and undertaking client site inspection trips, onsite event management and creating and conducting presentations to clients.

Conference Manager

Sydney: To $70,000 plus super

Expanding professional conference organiser is seeking a capable event and conference manager to take responsibility for the planning and delivery of pharmaceutical client conferences and events.
 

You will be responsible for full conference management including conference program development and management, client management, operational management and supervision of five staff, onsite client and team management, conference registration management including setup and management of EventsPro and Events Interactive systems functionality, flight management and supplier contract negotiation and management.
 

You will require a minimum of three years conference management experience and any experience within the pharmaceutical sector will be highly regarded. You will also have good practical skills in the use of Events Pro and Events interactive and ideally have previous staff supervisory experience. You will also possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, be a strong communicator, conscientious with the ability to work to deadlines, have attention to detail and be able to multi task.

Conference Coordinator

Successful event and conference management organisation seeks a self motivated individual with between one and three years event coordination experience including practical skills using the EventsPro database system.
 

You will be responsible for meeting and roadshow coordination including delegate registrations and liaison, setup of EventsPro database for specific events, managing flight and transfer bookings, venue/hotel research, liaison and accommodation bookings, client liaison, generation of runsheets and delegate reports for clients and suppliers, collation of conference packs and name badges, conference mail outs and assisting in the development of event proposals.
 

You will possess conference registration management experience with practical experience in EventsPro software. You will also be well presented, reliable and punctual, have a good telephone manner, be enthusiastic and friendly with a flexible nature.

Senior Event Manager

Sydney: c$80,000 negotiable

A well established, inner western suburbs based event and conference management company seeks an accomplished senior event professional to take responsibility for end-to-end event management including creative input for conferences, incentives and special events.

Specifically you will be responsible for account management, client liaison, sourcing and negotiating with technical staff, artists, venues, caterers and suppliers, conducting research and site inspections as required, preparing event time lines and production schedules, managing project budgets, onsite program management and creation of event proposals.
 

Ideally available to start immediately, you will have a minimum of five years experience in managing a variety of events and preferably have a background in incentive events. Travel will be required with this role when accompanying groups, and experience in the travel industry is essential, particularly group travel. Event Manager

This expanding event management business seeks an accomplished Event Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for project managing the planning and delivery of conferences, events and sales incentives.
