It was a well thought-out Polynesian event with more than 120 performers.  The event was enhanced by the “All Black” dress code for guests and peaked when a kabuki drape fell with a bang to reveal a dance band, rugby field dance floor with balloon rugby balls!

CHALLENGES
- Lunch voucher scheme  – utilising 12 restaurants over a period of five days.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
- six to nine months out organisers identified 25 restaurants as potential participants. Two months out, organisers met personally with restaurant managers to explain the lunch voucher scheme and the logistics behind DPL’s daily voucher collection and payment – got signed agreement for participation. Five days out, met personally with restaurant managers again to show samples of vouchers, deliver reconciliation reports and answer any questions. Daily during the programme organisers met with restaurant managers (x12) to collect vouchers and settle accounts. Throughout the week, the lunch voucher scheme resulted in more than $80,000 in revenue for these 12 local restaurants!
