TAKE NOTE of exciting developments at New Zealand’s four deluxe Millennium Hotels.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand has launched a new website designed specifically for the MICE industry: www.meetingsnz.co.nz. The new user-friendly website has easy search options for all four Millennium properties in New Zealand, as well as the group’s 27 Copthorne and Kingsgate Hotel and Resorts throughout the country. Alison Smith, National Director of Sales New Zealand, Conferences & Incentives said the purpose-built website is a key part of the Millennium team’s service, offering two-click convenience for conferencing.
“It delivers a very practical and effective tool for organisers wanting to conference in New Zealand, with online conference packs, instant information and booking access,” she said. The group’s four Millennium Hotels are located in New Zealand’s premier destination locations - Rotorua, Taupo, Christchurch and Queenstown - and all offer outstanding conference facilities and conference management expertise. Chris Phillips, Regional Director of Sales – Australia said refurbishments and upgrades to facilities have recently been completed in Millennium Queenstown and Millennium Rotorua, with work to begin soon in Millennium Christchurch and Millennium Hotel and Resort Manuels Taupo.
To celebrate its newly designed interiors, Millennium Hotel Rotorua is running a conference special until May 31, 2006 with each booking receiving a free case of Montana wine, free venue hire and discounts at six of Rotorua’s key visitor attractions. All guest rooms have recently been refurbished with sophisticated contemporary designs. High speed internet access, a practical work space and superior lighting have been installed in all rooms.
The Millennium Club Lounge, conference rooms, bars and restaurants have also seen new designs. A part of the hotel’s day spa complex is the Mud Room, a must to experience indulgent Rotorua mud wraps and salt glow body polish.
This winter Millennium Hotel and Resort Manuels Taupo is upgrading six deluxe rooms to incorporate the very latest in contemporary design and technology, as well as refurbishing other guest rooms. As part of its sponsorship of New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Millennium Hotels and Resorts have created a series of ‘Take Note’ rewards for meeting bookings in New Zealand.
